FAQ

We are using spare parts which are not being produced any more. We are worried that trouble regarding these parts hereafter might occur. How do you respond to this?

Nittoku Engineering can reproduce finished products by your drawings or by the original product. It may occur that a succeeding product for general goods or controller parts does not exist. At our company we will contact the respective makers and send you a proposal to best fit your requirements, which you can examine.

We are using Nittoku's winding machine for 20 years, and it often has failure these days. We would like to consult with you whether we should have it repaired, or purchase a new machine.

Please contact your nearest business office of Nittoku Engineering. Our customer service and the business office cooperate with the customer regarding the quotation of repair and maintenance of the subject machine, or with information of the successor products after the discontinuation, or the suggestion of a new model.

We are going to export the winding machine of your company to a factory outside Japan.

The sales and support service base of our company nearest your location will respond to it, both in the local language and Japanese. The list of the service bases are posted in Global Network Bases Guide on our website. If you have further questions, please feel free to consult with the customer service directly.

Support for discontinued models

The service period of Machines is generally for 10 years after production of said model has been discontinued. This also applies to machine parts including Tension units. 10 years after production of a specific type of machine model has been discontinued, most parts will become difficult to procure from the industry market. Accordingly we cannot provide new parts for repair maintenance. In such cases we shall do our best to find a solution that fits your needs, but we may recommend a replacement machine or different parts.

Can we have the instruction manual for a given winding machine?

Each of our winding machines has ID plate on it. If you notify the contents of the plate to us, necessary things will be sent to you. Please give the nearest business office your contact information, and the further questions of maintenance and others.

We are going to transport the winding machine now used in Japan, to a factory outside the country. Will there be any problem concerning the power source?

The power source required for the winding machine normally is 3-phase 200V, 4KVA, 50Hz. Please confirm the power source for your machine with our factory staff. The voltage is required to be +-10%.
